Law Enforcement Executive Program
Program Costs and Dates (2008-09)
- LEEP will be held in six sessions beginning in October 2008 through March 2009 in the meeting facilities located at the JC Raulston Arboretum in Raleigh. So that participants can give maximum service to their departments while receiving instruction, with the exception of the first session, the sessions will normally run three days a week from 8:30am to 5:00pm (except for the October session). The session dates are as follows:
October 13-17, 2008 (Monday - Friday)
November 10-12, 2008 (Monday - Wednesday)
December 9-11, 2008 (Tuesday - Thursday)
January 12-14, 2009 (Monday - Wednesday)
February 9-11, 2009 (Monday - Wednesday)
March 9-11, 2009 (Monday - Wednesday)
- Cost.
There will be a registration fee of $2,000 for books, materials, an orientation luncheon on the first day and a special graduation banquet to be held on the last day.
This cost does not include room & board. Please do not mail the registration fee until you have been notified of
acceptance into the program. Payment will be due September 5, 2008 in order to hold your seat. You will receive an invoice with your acceptance letter.
- Texts.
Instructional materials and special texts will be supplied by the Law Enforcement Executive Program.
- Certificate. Participants who complete the course with satisfactory record will receive a special certificate of completion.
- Classroom.
All classes will be held in Raleigh at the JC Raulston Arboretum, located near NC State University.
- Housing.
Participants are responsible for making their own housing arrangement. The Ramada Inn Blue Ridge will be offering a special room rate for LEEP participants (state government rate except for the October session). It is located 1 mile from the Arboretum with easy access to I-40.
