James R. Brunet, Assistant Professor, PSLI and SPIA
Jim is a faculty member in the PSLI and the School of Public and International Affairs at NC State University. His principal interests involve drug testing in police organizations and community corrections. His most recent research appears in the Review of Public Personnel Administration, State and Local Government Review, Justice System Journal, Western Criminology Review, and Journal of Public Affairs Education.
Charles K. Coe, Professor, PSLI and SPIA
He is a faculty member in the Public Administration Program at NCSU. Formerly a budget officer with the City of Grand Rapids, Michigan, and a public service associate of the Institute of Government at the University of Georgia. Author of Public Financial Management and numerous articles on public administration.

Jim is the director of the PSLI at NCSU. Former director of the Institute of Continuing Justice Education and the Police Executive Development Program (POLEX) at Pennsylvania State University. Trainer and consultant with law enforcement agencies around the country and designer of LETN course on police administration. He has directed the AOMP since coming to NCSU in 1995.
Richard R. McMahon, Private Consultant & Clinical Psychologist
Richard is a private consultant, organizational management. He is a clinical psychologist specializing in human behavior as it relates to organizational change and personal development.
Stephen K. Straus, Professor, PSLI and SPIA
Steve is a faculty member in the PSLI and the Public Administration Program at NCSU. He has extensive experience in management training and has held positions of assistant city manager and personnel director.
Deborah Lamm Weisel, Research Asst. Professor, PSLI and SPIA
Deborah is a Research Assistant Professor in the PSLI and the Public Administration at NCSU. She conducts research on a wide-range of issues of concern to police, including residential burglary, graffiti, street drugs, & gangs. She was previously a Senior Research Associate for the Police Executive Research Forum in Washington, DC
